A harbour every 10 miles on a coast with no sheltered anchorage: Port-Vendres, Argelès, Saint-Cyprien, Canet, Leucate, Port-la-Nouvelle, Gruissan, Narbonne-Plage, Valras, Cap d'Agde, Sète, Frontignan, Palavas, La Grande-Motte and Port-Camargue. All open at any hour, all awkward to enter in a south-easterly. The tramontane rules from October to April.
