Gulf of Saint-Tropez, Pampelonne and the capes

The gulf opens to the east, so to easterly gales, but its shores offer Les Canebiers, La Moutte and Sainte-Maxime in a mistral. Outside, Pampelonne and its 5 km beach, the bay of Cavalaire and the Bonporteau cove, then Cap Taillat and Cap Lardier in the protected site. Anchoring over posidonia is regulated: read the park chart before dropping the hook.
