Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south-east across the Golfe de Saint-Tropez. Entrance between two breakwaters with lateral marks. Maximum draught 2 m, so deeper keels should confirm berth depth with the harbour office. VHF channel 9. Exposed to easterly winds inside the gulf.
Practical
800 berths with berthing assistance on arrival, fuel berth, water and electricity on pontoons. The harbour office and sanitary block are being rebuilt, so showers sit in temporary units, sometimes open by day only and closed 18:00 to 08:30, with works noise from early morning. Some visitor berths on the breakwater lie beside a public car park and road and are noisy, so ask for a quieter pontoon. Expect around 50 euros a night for a 10 m boat in season. Harbour office open year-round.
Ashore
Town centre and market square 200 m from the port. Beaches of La Nartelle and La Madrague east of town along the coast road. Shuttle boats to Saint-Tropez 2.1 nm south across the gulf, avoiding summer road traffic on the D98A.
