Saint-Florent is the base: the Agriates desert begins 3 miles away with Saleccia, Lotu and Malfalcu, with no road and no house. Northwards, Cap Corse offers Centuri and its lobster-boat harbour, Barcaggio at the tip, then Macinaggio on the east side with the cape's largest marina. The wind accelerates at the cape: in a mistral or libeccio, stay in Saint-Florent.
