Approach and anchoring
Seal Ledge marks a hazard on the south-west side of Rockland Harbour, and the water inside towards Atlantic Point is very shoal. A dangerous wreck lies about 200 yards south of the ledge. Keep clear of both and anchor over mud, which holds well.
Practical
The mooring gives shelter from NW through S and SE. Fresh water is available nearby. Landings Marina, 0.9 nautical miles to the north-west, is a block from downtown Rockland; Journey's End Marina lies 1 nautical mile north with full services and fuel.
