Guide

Approach and anchoring

Enter Scituate Harbour between the breakwaters and follow the dredged channel past Old Scituate Light, with can buoy 1 to port and nun 2 to starboard, into the mooring basin. The entrance bar can break across the channel at low water and in heavy weather.

Practical

Public marina of around 71 slips taking vessels up to 45 feet, with a kayak ramp, showers, restrooms and a working boatyard. Managed by the Town of Scituate Select Board Office. A function room facing the harbour adjoins the site.

Ashore

Scituate Harbour village shops and restaurants lie a short walk west. Old Scituate Light, built in 1811 on Cedar Point, sits on the northern edge of the harbour.
