Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north-west between the Îles des Hébihens and the Pointe de la Garde Guérin. Rocky ground on either side of the channel, keep to the buoyed marks. Strong tidal streams at springs through the Rance approaches. VHF 9 for the port moorings.
Practical
Around 600 moorings managed by the local port. Sand bottom, good holding. Shelter from NW through N to E. Exposed to the W and SW, rough in an onshore blow. Water tap ashore at the port quay.
Ashore
Sandy beaches of Longchamp and Port-Hue on either side of the anchorage, both under 500 m from the landing quay. Coastal footpath GR34 passes through the village toward Lancieux to the west and the Pointe de la Garde Guérin. Golf de Dinard course designed in 1887 sits above the headland, one of the oldest in continental Europe.
