Approach and anchoring
Strong tidal streams typical of the Rance and Saint-Malo approaches, range up to 12 m at springs. Sand bottom. Open to the south through west, sheltered from the east and north. Plan arrival and departure with the tide, many drying rocks in the area.
Practical
No services. Port de Saint-Briac 2 NM south-west and Dinard 2,3 NM east for berths, fuel and provisioning.
Ashore
Sentier des douaniers GR34 along the coast. Beaches of Saint-Briac and Longchamp within walking distance from the nearest landings. Saint-Malo intra-muros reachable from Dinard by the Bus de mer shuttle across the Rance.
