Guide
Approach and anchoring
Access from the bay of Saint-Briac between the Île Agot to the west and the Pointe de la Haye to the east. Approach requires a rising tide given the 1 metre maximum draught at low water. Rocky shoals to the north-west, pass well clear of the Plateau de la Barbe Brûlée.
Practical
Around 600 berths on moorings, mostly occupied by locals. Dinghy landing at the Béchet slipway. Water point at the slipway. Shops, bakery and restaurants in Saint-Briac village within 400 m of the landing.
Ashore
Sentier des douaniers GR34 runs along the coast from the harbour, westward to the Pointe de la Garde Guérin in around 2 km, eastward to the Pointe de la Haye in 1 km. Saint-Briac golf course, opened in 1890, sits 600 m inland. Beach of Longchamp is 1,8 km by road to the east.
