Emerald Coast anchorages, Saint-Malo to Cancale
10 places · Emerald Coast
The anchorages of the Saint-Malo bay, from Dinard to the Pointe du Grouin, with the Rance river as the fallback when a north-westerly fills the bay. Springs rise 12 metres here: work out the depth before dropping the hook, and take the Saint-Malo or Dinard buoys in bad weather. Cancale and its oyster bay are best visited on a rising half tide.
