Approach and anchoring
Approach at mid to high water clear of the drying rocks around the Ébihens archipelago. Shelter from W and NW only, fully open to the prevailing W to SW weather systems in a blow. Strong tidal streams run through the adjacent passages on springs.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no services. Port de Saint-Briac 1.5 nm E and Port du Châtelet 1.5 nm S provide the nearest refuge in settled conditions.
Ashore
GR34 coastal path runs along the shore between Saint-Briac and Lancieux with views over the Ébihens tower built in 1696 by Garangeau after Vauban. Saint-Briac village at 1.5 km, 18-hole links golf course of Dinard-Saint-Briac alongside, one of the oldest in France opened in 1887.
