Approach and anchoring
Navigable up to Hennebont for drafts under 2 m on a rising tide, with lock access to the canal from Nantes to Brest above the town. Soft mud bottom, full 360-degree protection from the wooded banks. Check clearance under the two road bridges at Lanester and Kerentrech.
Practical
No services on site. Water and fuel at the Kernevel and Port-Louis marinas 4 NM downriver at the Blavet mouth. Train station and shops in Hennebont village upstream.
