Approach and anchoring

Inside San Francisco Bay, about 2 nautical miles east of the Golden Gate Bridge. Enter through the breakwater off Marina Green. Strong ebb currents through the Gate, watch for ship traffic in the central Bay.

Practical

Around 350 berths in the East Harbour, vessels up to 100 ft. Fuel berth on site with diesel and petrol, pump-out station, public boat lift. Harbour master's office in the West Harbour, open 7 days a week 08:30 to 16:30. Phone +1 415 831 6322.

Ashore

Marina Green park on the doorstep, with running and cycling paths along the seawall. Fort Mason cultural centre about 600 m east, Palace of Fine Arts about 800 m west. Chestnut Street shops and restaurants 500 m south.
