Marina in Clipper Cove, between Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island, in San Francisco Bay, California.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Clipper Cove is land-locked on three sides and open to the wind from the west. A shoal guards much of the entrance, so the approach is best taken above low water. Steady westerly winds and little current inside the cove.
Practical
About 107 berths for boats from 15 to 80 feet. A rebuild to 168 wider berths on steel pilings was funded in 2025, with construction expected to start in 2026.
History
Clipper Cove was formed when Treasure Island was built for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition. The marina office is at 1 Clipper Cove Way.
