Brest roadstead and the Crozon peninsula: the anchorages

10 places · North Finistère and Iroise

The Brest roadstead is a 180 km² enclosed basin with shelter in every wind: the Aulne river and Landévennec in westerlies, Moulin Blanc and Roscanvel in easterlies. Outside, Camaret, Morgat and the Anse de Dinan open the way to Cap de la Chèvre and Douarnenez bay. The stream in the Goulet reaches 4 knots: time it on the tide.
