Îles d'Hyères: Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Levant
11 places · Var
Porquerolles has a harbour and a mooring field, but its northern beaches (Notre-Dame, La Courtade, Le Langoustier) are the anchorages everyone wants in August. Port-Cros is a national park: buoys are compulsory at Port-Cros and Port-Man, anchoring banned elsewhere. Levant keeps the Avis inlet. Mistral and easterlies hit hard between the islands: pick the sheltered side.
