Quiberon bay and La Trinité: sheltered anchorages

Closed by the Quiberon peninsula and the islands, the bay is the most sheltered water in South Brittany, hence its regattas. Port-Haliguen and La Trinité-sur-Mer are the harbours, the Crac'h river and the Vilaine up to La Roche-Bernard the bolt-holes in a gale. Fair-weather anchorages off the Carnac and Saint-Pierre beaches, and under the Pointe du Conguel in westerlies.
