Approach and anchoring
West-facing cove on the Côte Sauvage, fully exposed to Atlantic swell. Rocky bottom and marked prohibition of anchoring in the approaches. Shelter only from E, SE, S and SW winds inside the harbour basin.
Practical
Use Port-Haliguen on the east side of the peninsula at 3.2 NM SE, or Port-Maria at 3.4 NM S, both with full visitor facilities. Portivy itself serves local fishing boats.
Ashore
Côte Sauvage coastal path GR 34 passes directly above the harbour, with waymarked cliffs and coves for several kilometres north and south. Saint-Pierre-Quiberon village 1 km inland for shops and bakery.
