Approach and anchoring
Holding in sand was good in 2022. The beach shelves gently, so boats anchor well out. Little swell came in during 2022 and 2023. The bay makes a stop before catching the tide across the Channel.
Practical
Dinghies land easily on the flat sandy beach. Two restaurants stood on the beach in 2024. In summer 2022 a beach café stayed open until 8 pm. St Peter Port is 6 km away, about 1.5 hours on foot.
