South Martinique: Le Marin, Sainte-Anne and Les Salines

16 places · Martinique

Le Marin is Martinique's yachting base: over 800 berths, a 98-buoy mooring field and clearance at the marina office or the fuel dock on pontoon 3. Inside the bay, the hurricane holes are closed to anchoring and mooring unless a yellow hurricane alert is issued, and so is the 300 metre strip off the town beach. Sainte-Anne keeps a wide open anchorage and a clearance computer at Snack Boubou. South of it lie Caritan, Les Salines and the Cabrits islets. To the west, Sainte-Luce, where the Trou du Diable is buoys only, and Le Diamant, whose rock is off limits.
