Anchorage on the east side of the Le Marin bay, 0.3 miles south-east of Marina du Marin. Mostly sand with patches of rock, weed and mud, sheltered from every sector except the south-west.

Approach and anchoring
Make for the Morne de la Pointe Borgnesse, pick up buoy MA2, then follow the marked channel on 073 degrees towards Pointe Marin. After MA4, steer 050 degrees for Pointe Cailloux, pass the Banc Major light and turn north, leaving Banc du Milieu and MA7 to port. Martinique uses IALA B: red marks to starboard when entering. East of a line from the mouth of the O'Neil canal to Pointe Malé lies a hurricane hole where anchoring is banned outside official hurricane alerts: keep west of it. Speed is limited to 5 knots north of MA8.

Water and a dinghy pontoon according to Navily. Fuel, shops and the harbour office are at Marina du Marin, a few minutes away by dinghy.
Ashore
A walk from Le Marin leads up to the viewpoint of Morne Gommier, overlooking the marina, Sainte-Anne and Montagne Pelée.
