Marina of 830 berths plus about 100 mooring buoys at the head of the Cul-de-Sac du Marin, in the south of Martinique.

Approach and anchoring

Make for the Morne de la Pointe Borgnesse, pick up buoy MA2, then follow the marked channel on 073 degrees towards Pointe Marin. After MA4, steer 050 degrees for Pointe Cailloux, pass the Banc Major light and turn north, leaving Banc du Milieu and MA7 to port. Martinique uses IALA B: red marks to starboard when entering. Stay strictly in the channel between Banc Major and Banc du Milieu. Speed is limited to 5 knots north of MA8. Depths of 4 m in the outer harbour and 3 m in the basins; Navily lists berths up to 30 m. Call the harbour office on VHF 9.

Practical

Fuel berth on pontoon 3, open daily 07:30 to 17:30. Water, 220 V shore power from 16 to 120 A plus three-phase, showers and toilets with an access card, laundry, a 70-tonne travel lift and a boatyard. Clearance is filed online on demarches-simplifiees.fr; the harbour office can do it for 5 euros, Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 17:00. Phone +596 596 74 83 83.
