Working marina with slips and moorings in Great Harbor and Eel Pond at Woods Hole, on the south-west tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Entered through the Woods Hole passage from Buzzards Bay or Vineyard Sound. The tide runs hard and cross-channel through The Strait and Broadway, so a passage near slack water is advised. Eel Pond is reached through a bascule bridge.
Practical
Around 26 slips and a mooring field, taking vessels up to 50 feet. The yard offers 30-amp power, water, heads, showers and ice. It also runs salvage and heavy mooring work. Slips and moorings are by waitlist.
