Approach and anchoring
Entry from the Rade de Lorient, south of the Passage de la Jument. Shallow in places at low water springs. Kernével marina lies 1.1 nautical miles to the northeast and Port-Louis the same distance to the east across the roadstead.
Practical
Mainly small craft and local fleet. Limited visitor capacity. Shops, bakery and supermarket in Larmor-Plage within walking distance.
Ashore
Plage de Toulhars adjoins the harbour. Coastal path along the Larmor-Plage seafront leads west to Pointe de Kerpape. Lorient city centre and submarine base museum reachable across the roadstead.
