Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached off N. 14th Street, with water access to Egan's Creek, the Amelia River and the Florida Intracoastal Waterway. Floating docks with approach and dockside depths of about 7 to 8 feet. The St. Marys River inlet from the Atlantic lies just to the north.
Practical
Fifty wet berths, of which four are kept for visitors. A 50-ton travel lift and steel hurricane cradles handle haul-out and long-term storage. The yard does prop and shaft work, aiming for 24-hour turnaround, and services Yanmar and Caterpillar engines. Shore power in 30 and 50 amp.
Ashore
Old Town Fernandina, the original townsite laid out under Spanish rule in 1811, is a few minutes south. Downtown Fernandina Beach, with its 55-block historic district and the shops of Centre Street, is close by.
