Approach and anchoring
Set in a sheltered basin off the Amelia River, with deep-water berths reaching vessels up to 100 feet. The Florida Intracoastal Waterway runs past the entrance.
Practical
Around 132 wet berths for short and long stays, plus dry storage. There is a fuel dock with petrol and diesel, a ship store, showers, laundry, a pump-out station and a 50-ton travel lift. Kitchen 251 restaurant is on site, and live and frozen bait is sold.
Ashore
Downtown Fernandina Beach and its 55-block historic district, with the shops and galleries of Centre Street, lie a short way north. Old Town Fernandina, platted under Spanish rule in 1811, is also close by.
