The marina sits within Smith Cove on the Niantic River, reached from Long Island Sound through the Niantic River entrance. Active moorings lie in the cove off the pontoons.
Practical
There are 150 wet berths, 100 valet rack spaces and moorings in Smith Cove. A full boatyard handles maintenance and repairs, with a fuel berth, pump-out and a ship store. Kayaks, paddleboards and powerboats are available for hire.
Story
A certified Clean Marina since 2010, the site has run on its own solar power since 2018.
