Approach and anchoring
On the west bank of the lower Thames River, close to the harbour entrance from Long Island Sound. The marina shares its site with the AW Marina operation at 178 Pequot Avenue.
Practical
Around 50 berths for vessels up to 50ft, with seasonal dockage and moorings. Toilets and showers, a picnic area with grills, and a bait and tackle shop on site.
History
Fort Trumbull is a granite coastal fort built between 1839 and 1852 as part of the United States Third System of fortifications, set in the state park beside the marina.
