Approach and anchoring

Approach from the east, clear of obstructions. Drop the hook in 3 to 5 m on sand, good holding. Shelter from W, NW and SW winds thanks to the coast; fully exposed to tramontane gusts funnelling from the north and to easterly swell. Port Sainte-Marie-la-Mer lies 0.3 NM to the NW as a refuge.

Practical

No services at anchor. Town beach and promenade ashore by dinghy. Port Sainte-Marie at 0.3 NM NW for water, fuel and provisioning; Canet-en-Roussillon marina at 1 NM S.
