Approach and anchoring

Entry from the Mediterranean through the Barcarès pass, then up the étang channel to the marina basin. Buoyed channel, shallow outside the marked route. Local harbour office on VHF 9.

Practical

Pontoon berths along finger pontoons in a sheltered basin. Water and electricity at berths. Fuel available at Port-Barcarès, 1.3 NM SE. Shops, bakeries and restaurants in the Coudalère quarter within walking distance.

Ashore

Sandy beach on the seaward strip, 400 m from the marina on foot. Lydia, a cargo ship beached as a permanent landmark in 1967, sits on the beach 2 km south. Cycle path along the lido towards Saint-Cyprien.
