Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east on a low sandy coast, entrance between two jetties marked by red and green lights. Maximum draught 3 m. VHF channel 9. Strong tramontane from NW can generate a lively cross-swell at the entrance, approach with reduced sail.
Practical
1300 berths on floating pontoons for boats up to 25 m. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol, water and power on every pontoon, travel hoist up to 50 tonnes, full boatyard with winter storage. Shops, restaurants and market in the resort within 400 m.
Ashore
Sandy beach directly north and south of the marina. Étang de Canet-Saint-Nazaire, a protected lagoon for birdwatching with flamingos and herons, lies 1 km south. Collioure and the rocky Côte Vermeille start 20 km to the south by road.
