Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from seaward with good visibility; the bottom is rock, so drop the anchor on a sand patch between the slabs and check the set by snorkelling if possible. Exposure is open from NW through N to NE, so leave at the first sign of a northerly shift. Shelter improves with winds from SE through S to W.
Practical
Mooring forain only, no services on site. Fuel, water and chandlery are available 1.2 nm west at Port Eugène Ceccaldi in Sant'Ambroggio.
Ashore
Short dinghy run west to the beach at Sant'Ambroggio, with beach bars and restaurants in season. The village of Lumio sits on the hillside above, roughly 3 km by road from the port.
