Approach and anchoring
Approach from the open sea between Algajola and Île Rousse. Head in towards the sand beach once past the rocky points. Holding on sand is good. Shelter from NE, E, S and SE. Exposed to W and NW swell, untenable in a Libeccio.
Practical
Open roadstead, no services on site. Nearest harbour is Port Eugène Ceccaldi at Algajola, 2.4 nm SW, with water and diesel. Île Rousse marina lies 2.8 nm NE.
Ashore
Fornello beach has fine sand with shallow water close in. Algajola village with shops and cafes is about 1 nm along the coast path. The Balagne train Trinighellu links Algajola to Île Rousse and Calvi.
