Approach and anchoring
From the Choptank River, head up the Tred Avon, then north and north-east past the Tred Avon Yacht Club and the town beach. The marina lies inside Town Creek opposite daymark 7. Approach depth is about 11ft and dockside depth about 9ft. VHF 16.
Practical
110 berths, of which around 20 are transient, on fixed and floating docks for boats up to 120ft. Fuel berth, pump-out, ship's store, heads, showers and a pool. The marina completed a 2.4 million dollar refit after Safe Harbor Marinas took it over in 2017.
Ashore
Oxford village is a short walk from the docks, settled in the 1680s and one of the oldest towns in Maryland. The Oxford-Bellevue ferry has crossed the Tred Avon since 1683.
