Approach and anchoring
Town Creek is entered from the Tred Avon River. The Jack's Point site has 56 floating berths for boats to 112ft and 6ft draught, the Town Creek headwaters site has 42 fixed berths for craft from 20 to 50ft and 5ft draught.
Practical
Full repair, maintenance and winter dry storage, with a 25-ton travel lift for haul-out and launch. Free wifi, bicycles, a barbecue and a picnic area on site. Annual and transient berths.
Ashore
Oxford, founded in 1683, was one of Maryland's two colonial ports of entry alongside Annapolis. The Tred Avon ferry, running since 1683, crosses to Bellevue. The Oxford Museum covers the town's port history.
