Guide
Approach and anchoring
From Cape Cod Bay, make for flashing green buoy 3, then red nun 6, then steer into the harbour keeping wide of the north breakwall marked by flashing red 8. Dredged entrance channel and dockside depth around 8 ft, so the bar can shoal at low water on neap tides.
Practical
180 berths on floating pontoons, with 20 kept for visitors taking vessels from 18 to 70 ft LOA. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel, fresh water and shore power, a chandlery, bathhouses and a full service yard. Green Harbor Bar and Grill is on the waterfront.
History
Green Harbor has long served small recreational and commercial fishing boats. Its breakwaters and entrance channel have been dredged repeatedly, with about 100,000 cubic yards removed in the 2009 to 2010 project.
