Approach and anchoring
Approach through Plymouth Harbour. The marked channel bends north near Saquish Head to clear Browns Bank, then runs south past Duxbury Pier light and the Plymouth Harbour Channel Light, where it turns sharply east into the harbour. Watch the depth on either side of the fairway with a draught over 6 feet. Dockside depth is around 8 feet, with about 10 feet on approach.
Practical
105 berths, of which 15 are for transient boats, taking vessels up to 150 feet with a maximum draught of 8 feet. The fuel berth supplies diesel and petrol. Shore power, fresh water, pump-out, laundry, WiFi, a repair department and a waterside restaurant.
Ashore
Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II are by the town waterfront, with shops, restaurants and museums nearby.
