Approach and anchoring
Open approach from the east. Drop the hook on clear sand to avoid holding on protected seagrass. Sheltered from the W, SW and NW, fully exposed to easterly swell and to the mistral funnelling down from the NW over the low tombolo.
Practical
Water tap ashore. No pontoon, no fuel. Port Saint-Pierre de Hyères lies 0.4 nm to the north and Port de La Capte 0.6 nm to the SW for fuel, provisions and shelter when the wind shifts to the east.
