Anchorage off Punta Spano, on the rocky coast between Lumio and Algajola, about 3 nautical miles north-east of Calvi in Balagne, Corsica.

Approach and anchoring

Approach from seaward with good visibility: the seabed is rock and requires a careful choice of drop zone in the sand patches between the slabs. Holding is uncertain on rock, snorkelling over the anchor is advisable. Fully exposed to prevailing westerlies and the libeccio.
