Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east out of the Calvi bay, rounding the Revellata lighthouse 1.5 nm W. Keep off the rocky shore on both sides of the inlet. Exposed to swell from the NW; leave before the mistral sets in.
Practical
No services. Anchor on sand in 4 to 8 m close under the southern shore. Calvi 2 nm E has a marina with fuel, water, chandlery and all shops. Port Eugène Ceccaldi 2.2 nm NE.
Ashore
Revellata lighthouse and semaphore on the tip of the peninsula, reachable by a coastal path from the anchorage. Stareso marine research station on the Revellata works on Posidonia and Mediterranean biodiversity. Citadel of Calvi rises above the bay 2 nm E, Genoese fortifications from the 15th century.
