Drying harbour in the anse de Lazo on the commune of Plouézec, 3,5 NM east of Paimpol in the Côtes-d'Armor.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Baie de Paimpol, staying clear of the plateau de la Horaine and the rocks off Pointe de Bilfot. The harbour dries almost entirely at low water, so entry is on a rising tide only. Access is unmarked by night. Refuge in Paimpol 3,5 NM west if the tide is wrong.
Practical
Around 186 moorings, most on drying trots managed by the local association. Small slipway, no fuel berth. Shops and restaurants are in Paimpol, served by bus from Plouézec village 2 km above the harbour.
Ashore
The GR34 coastal footpath runs along the cliffs above the harbour, with the Pointe de Bilfot lighthouse 1,5 km north and the Pointe de Minard signal station 2 km south. Beach at Port Lazo is usable at low water.
