Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east at mid-tide or above to avoid the drying rocks off the cove. Mixed bottom of sand, algae and mud; anchor in clear sand patches. Shelter from NW through W to S; open to E and NE winds.
Practical
No facilities on site. Port Lazo 1.6 NM NW for slipway and dinghy access. Paimpol 4.8 NM NW for full services including lock-in marina, fuel and chandlery.
Ashore
GR34 coastal path runs along the cliffs above the cove. Abbaye de Beauport founded in 1202 reachable on foot in 30 minutes from Port Lazo. Pointe de Plouézec with view over the Bréhat archipelago.
