Approach and anchoring
Enter the Trieux through the buoyed channel, watching for strong cross-set on the ebb. Sand bottom, good holding. Shelter from SW, W and NW. Port Lazo lies 1.4 NM to the NW, Paimpol 4.6 NM NW through the lock.
Practical
Forain anchoring only, no facilities on site. Water, diesel and shops in Paimpol inside the wet dock. Loguivy-de-la-Mer has a small lobster port and a basic general store.
Ashore
The GR34 customs path runs along the shore and links to the Pointe de l'Arcouest opposite the Île de Bréhat ferry jetty in about 4 km. Paimpol old town sits around the Place du Martray within walking distance of the wet dock.
