Approach and anchoring

The Baie de Paimpol dries extensively at low water of spring tides. Approach on a rising tide through the Chenal de la Jument, red and green buoyed. Protection reported from all sectors but exposure depends on actual position within the bay. Paimpol lock opens HW plus or minus 1 hour for the wet basin.

Practical

Port de Paimpol 1.6 NM NW with wet basin behind the lock, water, electricity, fuel berth and full shops in town. Port Adhoc yard 1.8 NM NW for haul-out and technical works.
