Guide
Approach and anchoring
Lake access only. No tide, no current. Sand bottom across the étang. Watch for shoals along the east shore of the lake and for swimmers near the port entrance in summer.
Practical
Seventy berths for residents and visitors. Slipway and dry storage. Sailing club Club Voile Sanguinet sits 200 m southwest, Port de l'Estey about 700 m west. Village of Sanguinet within walking distance with bakery, grocery and restaurants.
Ashore
Cycling path of the Vélodyssée along the west shore of the lake. Archaeological museum Lac de Sanguinet displays Gallo-Roman pile-dwelling finds recovered from the lake bed. Atlantic beaches at Biscarrosse-Plage about 10 km west by road.
