Guide
Approach and anchoring
Freshwater lake access only, via the village of Cazaux. The lake covers 58 km2 and reaches depths over 20 metres in the central basin. No tide. Southerly and westerly winds build short chop across the main fetch.
Practical
350 berths. A separate canal pontoon lies 0.7 NM to the NE and Port de l'Estey 4 NM to the SE on the same lake.
Ashore
Cazaux village within walking distance with shops and restaurants. Sandy lake beaches along the east shore. The lake is shared with the Cazaux air base, motor boating is restricted in marked zones.
