Approach and anchoring
Approach from Douarnenez Bay on a north-east heading, leaving the Basse Véour buoy to port. Channel marked by red and green beacons, maximum draught 3 m at the outer pontoons. Bay open to winds from NW to NE, well sheltered inside. VHF 9 for the harbour office.
Practical
Around 500 berths on pontoons, water and electricity at each berth, diesel on the fuel berth at the root of the breakwater. Capitainerie, showers and launderette on the quay. Supermarket and bakeries in Tréboul village at 300 m, full services in Douarnenez centre at 1 km.
Ashore
Plage des Sables Blancs at 400 m west of the marina, sand beach with lifeguards in summer. GR34 coastal path runs west to the Pointe de Leydé in 3 km. Port-Musée de Douarnenez with its floating fleet of historic working boats is at Port Rhu, 500 m on foot across the Jean Marin footbridge.
History
Tréboul was a sardine port until its merger with Douarnenez in 1945, and its marina basin was built in the 1970s on the site of the former fishing harbour.
