Small harbour on the south coast of the Cap Sizun, on the boundary between Plouhinec and Plozévet in Finistère.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Entrance between two short breakwaters on the west side of a narrow cove. Approach on a bearing of roughly north, keeping clear of rocks off both headlands. Harbour dries at low water springs, only accessible around high water.
Practical
Drying harbour used by local fishing boats and a few moorings. No fuel, no marina services. Small village with a bar and summer crêperie. Audierne, 3.7 nm to the north-west, is the nearest port with pontoons and shops.
Ashore
GR 34 coastal path crosses the harbour footbridge. Statue of the Bigoudène by sculptor René Quillivic on the east bank, marking the historical boundary between the Cap Sizun and Pays Bigouden. Plage de Pors Poulhan sand beach on the east side of the cove.
