Approach and anchoring
Open approach from the lake, between the Swiss coast to the north and the French shore to the south. Entrance between two breakwaters marked by lights. Maximum draught 3 metres. Exposed to the bise from the north-east which funnels through the Petit Lac.
Practical
225 berths, water and electricity on the quays. Sanitary block with showers. Village of Nernier is a medieval lakeside settlement with stone houses, a church and two restaurants, all within 200 metres of the port.
Ashore
Nernier village is classified among the Plus Beaux Villages de France, with a stone-built core dating to the 14th century. Lakeside path runs west to Yvoire, another medieval village 4 km away known for its 14th-century castle and gardens. Château de Coudrée 3.6 nautical miles to the south-east.
