Approach and anchoring
Approach from the lake along the Savoy shore between Thonon-les-Bains and Yvoire. Shallow entrance, maximum draught 0.8 m, suitable for small motorboats and dinghies only. Exposed to northerly winds from the Swiss shore. Port de Sciez is 0.3 NM east for deeper-draught boats.

Berths on pontoons for small craft. No fuel on site, nearest fuel at Port de Sciez at 0.3 NM. Water at pontoons. Restaurants at the Château de Coudrée hotel beside the port.
Ashore
Château de Coudrée, a square keep dated from the 12th century, stands directly on the lake shore beside the harbour, now a hotel-restaurant. Domaine de Coudrée park with lakeside walks. Yvoire medieval village, classed among the plus beaux villages de France, at 7 km west by lakeside road.
History
The Château de Coudrée keep is one of the oldest castles on the southern shore of Lake Geneva, documented from the 12th century and held for several centuries by the d'Allinges family.
